A Rhode Island Engagement Session with Mike & Rosa. It was a freezing cold and very windy day on the Rhode Island shore. But it was just so nice to get out and be out. When I had planned this engagement session I planned it the same weekend as birthday. So it was just nice to be out since COVID I really don’t go out and I do not really do much but work. It was just so nice to be out.
When I first sat down with Mike & Rosa I knew they loved each other, they are just the cutest and while photographing their engagement session it really showed in their images that they are just so amazing we had a blast through their whole session.
Back story I knew Mike when I first started photography he was one of my first seniors I have ever photographed ! He was also my first male senior to be photographed. Fast forward a few years later I did a surprise anniversary party for his grandparents and his family is just Awsome ! When I got an inquire from the two of them, I was through the moon.
As soon as we sat down in my favorite place Starbucks, and we got to talking it was just like we were friends and we talked about what their big day will look like, what season they were wanting to have it in which happens to be my favorite session fall. In the end Mike said to me “I really don’t want anyone else really to do our wedding.” When I heard that, that just made me feel really good because it is important to trust your photographer, which is what I look for in each couple when I ask what does photography mean to you.
Fast forward to me calling them asking if I could go to them, since I have always wanted to photograph an engagement session in Rhode Island. I looked at the forecast and it said clear skies and it will be warm…. Well I got to Rhode Island for the engagement session with Mike & Rosa and it was freezing and so windy, but they were troopers and they made it through the evening and I cannot thank them enough for that ! We had such the best time with an incredible sunset! Thank you Mike & Rosa for everything I cannot wait to photograph your wedding day.
Also Thank you for the homemade cookies they were amazing 🙂 !
