Belle Mer is one of Newport’s most stunning waterfront wedding venues. With its crisp white interiors, coastal views, and clean architectural details, it was a beautiful setting for Is and Ben’s wedding day. They filled the space with hundreds of layers of white florals, including orchids, creating a look that felt timeless, soft, and incredibly elegant despite the gray skies outside. The bride was stunning in a breathtaking Pnina Tornai gown from Kleinfeld, with a dramatic full skirt that made such a statement. The weather may not have been what they planned for, but it never took away from how special the day felt.
Incorporating Family, Friends & Heartfelt Jewish Traditions
Is and Ben are a sweet couple who clearly care deeply about their family, their friendships, and the meaning behind their wedding day. From the beginning, it was obvious that the people around them were a huge part of what made this celebration so special. There was so much intention woven into every part of the weekend, from the welcome dinner at the Tennis Hall of Fame with their bridal party to the custom cream bridesmaid pajamas, the father-of-the-bride’s cufflinks with a photo of Is inside, and the thoughtful details they chose for their favors. Every part of the day felt personal.
One of the most meaningful moments was the ketubah signing. It was heartfelt, intimate, and such an important part of the day. Is and Ben signed their names with so much excitement as their family surrounded them and welcomed them into this new chapter. Their Jewish traditions were woven beautifully throughout the ceremony, adding even more depth to a celebration that already felt so full of meaning. It was not just a beautiful wedding. It was a wedding that reflected who they are, what they value, and the people they love most.
Starting Your Next Chapter in Style
After their ceremony, Is and Ben slipped away to catch a few private moments together. We took some portraits by the water, and the rain made everything feel soft and romantic. Afterward, they joined their guests for the reception. From the moment they walked into the room, you could feel the excitement. Everyone was so happy to celebrate them. The bride's father-daughter dance brought so much fun into the evening, and from there, the celebration carried on with a live band leading the dance floor all night long. They spent the rest of the night surrounded by their family and friends, dancing and celebrating this next chapter together.
