Molly and James were married at the beautiful, Burr Mansion in Fairfield, CT. What started as a rainy, gloomy day ended with an absolutely stunning sunset ceremony.
Burr Mansion is one of Connecticut’s oldest and most beautiful mansion venues in Fairfield. Originally built in 1732, couples love the immaculately landscaped gardens and outdoor tent that can hold upwards of 200 guests. I know this, because it’s that same elegant, old New England charm that attracted Molly and James. This fun-loving couple wanted a large wedding celebration to ring in their next chapter. They loved the idea of blending history with modern elegance. After a rainy wedding day that scared all of us into thinking we wouldn’t be able to use the grounds for photos - a wedding miracle happened. The skies dried just in time for James and Molly to have their dream wedding.
After their ceremony, Molly and James slipped away to catch a few private moments together. We captured some intimate photos in the front garden. Afterward, Molly changed into the perfect party dress before joining their guests at the reception tent. From the moment they walked into the room, you could feel the energy shift. Everyone was excited to celebrate the couple! They wasted no time hitting the dance floor! They danced all night, surrounded by their friends and family.
It was truly a beautiful wedding, and I’m honored to have been invited to capture these memories for them. If you're planning a wedding a Burr Mansion or another gorgeous Connecticut venue, I would love to help make your big day magical. Send an inquiry to check availability for your dates.
