Who doesn't love popping a perfect bottle of champagne on a lovely summer day? Gianna and Andrew enjoyed a cold glass of bubbly while we took their engagement photos at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT.
Just a few moments into our consultation call, I could feel this couple’s love for one another. That’s why I was thrilled when Gianna and Andrew asked me to do their engagement photoshoot. I knew I wanted to give them an intimate experience they’d remember forever.
We chose two looks and locations for their session. We started in the gardens surrounding Eolia Mansion. It was a beautiful summer day, and the flowers were in bloom. I surprised them with a bottle of champagne and let their natural love for one another shine through the photos.
After exploring the gardens, I let the couple change before heading to our second location. We walked down to the beach, one of my favorite engagement spots (when the water is warm enough). Together, Gianna and Andrew enjoyed watching the waves crash onto the rocky shore. As the sun set, they embraced each other and laughed over wedding planning and sandy toes. Behind them, the most perfect cotton candy sky created a beautiful backdrop and ending to this engagement photoshoot.
