Wedding day tips Six things to consider on your wedding day to make it go smoother to have memories that can last you a life time. That you can pass down to your kids and grandkids.
Wedding day tips for capturing timeless and authentic moments on your wedding day can be very easy. I have put together six moments to consider on your wedding day.
Getting Ready
When choosing a getting ready area you wanna look for neutral or white colors, with as many windows as possible, natural light is key to having a smooth soft images. With me being a natural light photographer natural light is number one in my eyes. When choosing a space you are going to want to have the same for both the bride and the groom. Having those windows are key to have smooth clean skin tones it also create such amazing images just like these ones down below.
Details That Matter to you
Details are one of my favorites things to photograph. They can very tricky I tell all my brides that when it comes to dress hanging it is an art and skill. I always say to try and have a custom hanger for your dress or, just a neutral plain wooden hanger I do come with a few on your wedding day! I love to photograph all the details together so bride has all the rings, florals are there, dress, innovation suite, shoes, jewelry and/ or anything that is sentimental too you. Groom has his suite/ tux as well as anything such as cufflinks, shoes, cologne, watch, bowtie/ tie and boutonnières.
First look or First touch
First look or first touch I get so many questions from couples on this. I could go all day talking about this it is one of my favorite things to talk about. The biggest thing when it comes to a first look is it will save you so much time on your wedding day, you gain so much more time when it comes down to family formals and your portraits. Also its just you two having an intimate, First touch can also be a very sweet moment sometimes you can exchange vows during this moment and I feel like a lot of people will lean towards this idea if they are not interested in a first look.
Father Daughter First Look
I just did one of these at my last wedding and let me tell you it was the cutest thing to see . I love when the bride is walking to her dad and the dad turns around to see his sweet young daughter walking towards him. With the biggest smile on his face. That brings a a lot of joy to see that happening.
Unplugged Ceremony
Unplugged ceremony this is something that I feel like every wedding should have it is something that really can be very disruptive. Uncle bob is the one who might ruin your first kiss shot. Or that shot of you and your dad walking down the aisle. This is why you pay for us to be there with you every step of the way.
Sunset Portraits
Sunset Portraits my favorite things on wedding days ever. There is nothing more when I can create pure magic on your wedding day with such dreamy light. Those classic and timeless moments between you and your groom that is what I love capturing during your wedding day.
