A Romantic Fall Engagement Session in Connecticut
As a hardcore Gilmore Girls fan, I will always love Connecticut in the Fall. That might be why I was so excited to do Eden and Ian’s outdoor engagement session. I knew the colors would make a beautiful backdrop for their session.
When we first met, my impression of this couple was that they were a fun-loving, adorable pair. It was true! From consultation till the end of our session, the two were laughing, looking at each other with full openness, and you could feel the love they shared for one another.
Picking the Right Locations
We decided on an outdoor engagement session where the couple could dress comfortably. After listening to their vision, I suggested a romantic stone bridge in the woods that would be perfect. It had just enough privacy, architecture, and Fall foliage to make a dreamy backdrop.
We stuck to three locations close to each other. The first was the stone bridge I mentioned, where we created a fun, champagne picnic for two. Of course, we also had to stop at a nearby hillside, with just a peek of Fall colors in the background. Eden and Ian were all smiles and couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. In the end, we captured the perfect combination of close-up details and natural poses that really showcased their love. They loved the images and I can’t wait for these two to enter their next chapter.
